Raleigh according to U.S. Census Bureau has been mentioned as one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. Is has seen nearly a 50% growth rate since last year.

Raleigh Is America's Fastest-Growing City

Raleigh, North Carolina - The Raleigh metro area is the fastest-growing city in the country since 2000, according to census data.

Most recently, the U.S. Census Bureau released data comparing metro growth from 2010 to 2012, but when comparing data going back to 2000, Raleigh has grown faster than any other city in the nation.

Forbes analyzed national data and published a list of the fastest-growing cities. Raleigh has grown by an astonishing 47.8 percent since that time, something that won’t come as a surprise to those who lived here in the late 1990s.

Even with the hosing crash, poor economic standards and high employment rates, Raleigh, North Carolina has been established as the go to place in the United States for continual growth rates, employment and best places to start a small business. With a huge small business push, "Innovating Raleigh," Raleigh, North Carolina has established itself as a player and destination for people all across the country.
