Tomorrow, a mystical land where 99% of all human productivity, motivation and achievement is stored. I hate to tell you but this place doesn't exist, it is what you do today that defines you.

Quit Putting Your Dreams Off Till Tomorrow, The Place Doesn't Exist

I can guarantee that you have heard the line, "I'll work on it tomorrow," at least a dozen times in your life. Why does everyone always think that they can wait till tomorrow to accomplish something? Why not take the time you have today to do at least something to work towards your dream or aspiration. It's the small things that add up to something incredible and life changing.

The benefits of doing the small things instead of looking at the big picture is the idea of getting something going consistently and rewarding yourself for accomplishing something. Most people when they look at a dream or something they want to obtain they look at the distance of how far or how much work they are going to do to make it a reality which in turn makes it seem unobtainable. Instead of making a dream seem out of reach, break your idea down into segments. Set yourself up so that each week you are going to accomplish something small and obtainable but, at the same time, will add progress into reaching your goal. For a business idea, the first step I would recommend doing is sitting down and day dreaming, take your current idea and dream of it being bigger, if your going to dream might as well dream big. Then after you got your dream write it down on paper and tell yourself out loud that you are going to accomplish this. Once you got your destination write out a road map of the little things you can accomplish weekly that will bring you closer to your dream and hold yourself accountable to reaching those small tasks every week.

Each week reward yourself at the end of the week for the items you have accomplished, it can be as simple as just telling yourself that you did a good job or getting yourself something special, you know what motivates you. Over time these small tasks will become easier and easier because you will build a momentum and the next thing you know you will be ready to make your dream a reality. The main thing to focus on here is consistency and the idea of taking a small step every day in order to reach a big dream.

Personally over the last 6 years I have been teaching myself a process, I have designed the Innovating Creations website probably a dozen different ways, I have made fictional businesses which included everything from an operating website, social media, email marketing and many other on and offline marketing tactics. I have taught myself over the years one small task at a time how to effectively launch a company and promote it on and offline to a niche market of captive individuals. The fact that you have read this much of this blog shows that I can captivate an audience and this is the information that I want to help people to learn and use to promote and grow their business and leadership capabilities.

I now want you take a moment, and ask yourself what is your dream and what is one thing you can do today, maybe right now, that will bring you one step closer to your dream.
